Medal Tests went to Jackson Taylor who was awarded 94
for Quickstep and 94 for Waltz in his Elementary Bronze Ballroom exam.
His partner Alexis Capon
shared second highest marks of 95 in
each dance with Ailie Anderson who both danced their
Elementary Bronze exam, Alexis in Latin American and
Ailie in Ballroom.
Mary Evans danced the
highest level New Vogue exam - an Oscar. She passed having performed 9
dances - Twilight Waltz, Excelsior
Schottishe, Barclay Blues, La Bomba, Gypsy Tap, Swing Waltz,
Tango Teriffic, Lucille Waltz, and Carousel. |

Medal Tests went to Kathy Wallace in her Elementary Silver New Vogue exam.
She was awarded 96 for the Tracie Leigh Waltz and 95 for the Merrilyn.
Second highest marks went to
Mary Evans in her Gold Star Latin American exam which was a public
performance. She gained an impressive 95
for Rumba, 93 for Samba, 90 for Cha Cha Cha, 92
for Jive and 90 for Paso Doble.
Third highest marks were shared by Leanne Vuletich
and Brian Sears. Leanne in her Elementary Gold New Vogue exam was
awarded 95 for Swing Waltz and 93 for
Excelsior Schottishe. Brian in his Elementary Silver
Ballroom exam was awarded 95 for Quickstep and 93 for Waltz.

Leanne Vuletich in her Gold Bar Ballroom exam which was a
public performance. She gained an impressive 98
for Waltz, 98 for Foxtrot, 95 for Tango and 97
for Quickstep.
Second highest
mark went to Mary Evans in her Gold Star Ballroom exam which was a
public performance. She gained an 92
for Waltz, 95 for Foxtrot, 91 for Tango, 92
for Quickstep and 95 for Viennese Waltz. She also
gained the third highest marks dancing her Gold Bar Modern Ballroom
Sequence (New Vogue Style) exam.

for Jive. She also gained the third highest marks in
her Advanced Gold New Vogue exam.
Second highest mark went to
Dave Eskildsen in his Silver Bar Modern Ballroom Sequence (New Vogue
Style) exam with 95 for Barclay Blues, 95 for
Tracey Leigh Waltz, 95 for La Bomba and
96 for Gypsy Tap.

standard of dancing seemed to get better each year with some of the higher
level medals at a top standard. This showed the quality of training the
candidates had received.

scored an impressive honours pass for all three of her dancing medal tests
during Ballroom and Latin American medal tests conducted in December. Her marks were 96 for Jive, 95 for
Cha Cha Cha, 93 for Samba, and 94 for Rumba in her Silver Bar Latin
American test.
For the three dances in her Advanced Bronze New Vogue test she was
awarded 96, 95, 94, and her Silver Bar Ballroom test gained her marks of
95 for Quickstep, 94 for Foxtrot, 94 for Waltz, and 90 for Tango.
Running a close second were Misty Pearce and Virginia Stanaway. Virginia
was awarded 95 for Jive and 95 for Rumba in her Elementary Gold Latin
American test, and Misty 95 for Rumba, 95 for Cha Cha Cha, and 95 for Jive
in her Advanced Bronze Latin American test.

test.
For her second dance, the Cha Cha Cha, she gained 95 marks.
Ngapoko
also gained an honours pass, and fourth highest marks, for her Elementary
Bronze Ballroom test with 96 for Foxtrot and 94 for Waltz.

test he gained 93 for Foxtrot and 94 for Waltz.Second
highest mark went to Mary Evans with 94 for Waltz and 95 for Quickstep in her Elementary Silver
Ballroom test.
This was closely followed by Linda
Worthington of Russell
with 94 for both Waltz and Quickstep in her Elementary Gold Ballroom test.
